Lucky you

Posted .

We are so lucky to have our patients but the girls at Pierson Orthodontics would like those wonderful smiles we treat each day to know how lucky they are to have Dr. Pierson as an orthodontist.

Dr. Pierson is the humblest man we have ever worked for. He does not like to toot his own horn, so we loud mouths would love to toot it for him! Toot Toot!

Did you know that Dr. Pierson is Board Certified? What does that mean exactly? It means that Dr. Pierson became a dentist, then completed his orthodontic residency which takes three additional years. So, did he stop there? Oh no! He voluntarily went through hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate his judgment, skills and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care. Per the American Board of Orthodontics, A board certified orthodontist is committed to the highest level of patient care including a comprehensive treatment approach to ensure quality work. And board certified orthodontists must re-new their certification every 10 years to demonstrate their continuous commitment to excellence.

Behind the scenes of our well-oiled machine we call Pierson Orthodontics you will find Dr. Pierson’s passion for making sure each of his staff members are trained to provide the best care and atmosphere for our patients, their parents and even their siblings that tag along to the appointments. We go through hours of customer service seminars, technical training, and team building each month.

Dr. Pierson doesn’t seem to ever stop working. He teaches at UTHSCSA in the orthodontic residency program and sometimes we get the privilege to meet some of the future orthodontists as they bring cases to present to Dr. Pierson.

Yes, we began this stating our patients are lucky, but, we are as well. We are lucky to have such a caring, hardworking, compassionate boss, whose work we are proud to be a part of.
