Traditional Braces

Traditional braces remain popular because they work for a lot of different needs, from minor alignment issues to complex bite corrections. This versatility is made possible through a design that allows for precise and controlled adjustments. While the bracket and wire system is still the foundation, modern upgrades have made braces smaller, more comfortable, and more effective than ever before.

We offer both clear and metal braces, each an effective solution with their own advantages and aesthetic appeals. One of the ways that we improve treatment outcomes is by using iTero 3D digital scans and indirect bonding. Before placing braces on your teeth, we plan and place brackets on an accurate 3D model of your mouth. This makes treatment more accurate and controlled, while also making the installation process faster and more comfortable for you.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a great option for those looking for a more discreet option. Instead of using brackets and wires to move your teeth into place, Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic trays to shift your teeth in stages.

We take a very hands on approach to Invisalign treatment, making sure that treatment stays on track. As a Blue Diamond Invisalign Provider, we have extensive experience designing efficient aligner plans and making adjustments along the way when we notice something’s off.

Retainers

After your treatment is over, your teeth will naturally want to shift back to their original positioning. Retainers are important for making sure this doesn’t happen.

We offer both permanent and removable retainer solutions, and we’ll help you decide which option makes the most sense for your life. A permanent retainer is a thin wire fixed to the back of your teeth. The benefit is you don’t have to remember to wear them. A potential downside is they can add an additional challenge to cleaning your teeth. A removable retainer is a clear tray that is easy to take out for meals and cleaning, that you usually wear at night. However, they only work if you’re consistent with wearing them.

Surgical Orthodontics

Some issues, such as significant underbites, overbites, open bites, or jaw asymmetry, can affect eating, speech, and lead to uneven tooth wear over time. When severe misalignment of the jaw cannot be corrected with orthodontics alone, corrective jaw surgery or orthognathic surgery may be a necessary solution.

The reason it is referred to as surgical orthodontics is because orthodontics are often needed both before and after the surgery. That’s why we coordinate closely with your oral surgeon and maintain clear communication every step of the way.
